A. Lucas is a partner of Kyle Mathis & Lucas LLP. Ms. Lucas has
been in practice in Texas
since 1990, handling civil litigation matters. Ms. Lucas’ practice
includes handling of employment matters (including wrongful termination,
harassment and discrimination cases), general commercial litigation,
deceptive trade practices, products liability, medical malpractice, and
personal injury actions. Ms. Lucas has represented and worked closely
with clients in all phases of risk management discovery and litigation,
including litigation strategy. She also has extensive experience in
counseling and representing clients in all types of employment disputes.
Memberships
Ms. Lucas is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association and
the Commission for the Development of Minorities in the Profession.
Ms. Lucas is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas,
in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western and
Southern districts of Texas
and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Education
Ms. Lucas received her B.A. and J.D. from the University of Texas.
